WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO JOIN OUR BUSY MOT AND REPAIR CENTRE, WE WOULD LIKE THE APPLICANT TO HAVE HAD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF GOOD QUALITY REPAIRS, MUST BE CONFIDENT WITH MOST ASPECTS OF VEHICLE MAINTENANCE WITH FURTHER TRAINING PROVIDED IF REQUIRED

MOT LICENCE NOT REQUIRED BUT WOULD BE A BONUS

FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUIRED

PREVIOUS CUSTOMER/PHONE EXPERIENCE WOULD BE VERY BENEFICIAL

SALARY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMANCE BASED BONUS IN PLACE

AVERAGE 45 HOURS PER WEEK (MON-FRI 8:00 - 5:00 ALTERNATE SATURDAYS)

We are looking for someone to join the team at our busy MOT and repair centre, we’re looking for someone with previous experience with good understanding of good quality repairs, must be confident with most aspects of vehicle maintenance with further training provided if required

MOT licence not required but would be a bonus, full uk driving license is essential

Salary dependant on experience

42.5 hours a week plus alternate Saturdays

This Mini came in with a horrible timing chain rattle, we replaced the timing chain kit, removed the sump to check for any debris and replaced the engine oil and filter… the engine now sounds healthy and the customer doesn’t have to worry about complete failure causing massive damage with a huge bill 🔧 👨‍🔧

Is servicing your car really that important? In short the answer is yes! Most definitely! Although it’s not mandatory regular servicing prolongs the life of your vehicle and saves you money in the long run!

The first couple of photos come from the common Ford eco boost engine, incorrect/poor oil causes the oil pump strainer to block not allowing sufficient flow of oil, luckily got to this one before it caused engine failure!

Second picture is the difference between new and old pollen filters 🤢changed on every major service here at Comptons 😀

This poor customer came into us a few weeks ago with a burning smell, we found both of the headlight wiring had been poorly repaired! The vehicle was taken back to the garage that done the repair and this is there second attempt! Scroll to see what it should look like!

It really baffles me how some people think this kind of repair is acceptable… repair it properly! Repair it once!
