Outright Winners on the Drystone Road Rally 2026. 🏁🏁🚀……
This wasn't on the agenda when I first got the car 5 or 6 years ago but a nice surprise all the same, it's only taken 24 years since my first win 😂
First a massive thank you to Dan Daniel MacNeil Stone for doing an awesome job on the maps, his knowledge of the area and experience kept the pace under control all night, a chilled night and brilliant fun. Not only that he has had a big influence on the how the car has turned out with his advice and help over the last few years 🙂 it was brill to eventually sort getting out together, and was worth it in the end.
Big thanks to all the organisers and marshalls, brilliant event, expertly run with a fantastic route, also thanks to David Cottrell and Brad for coming to marshall.
Thanks to Mick, Phil and Chris Squires for supplying the car and all the help in getting it sorted, cheers to Alpha Tyres and Reece Davies for all the tyre changes, and thanks again to the main pinto man Mark Shillaber at srd for the monster engine 😚 got a win for you with it at last lol.
And lastly all the lads that have sat in the yellow peril and navigated, all playing their part! Sam Spencer James Chaplin Stew Dale Niel Galeandro and Paul Taylor.
