What did you think was the issue on our quiz post from Friday?

Answer below 👇 🚗

The vehicle came in for a routine oil and filter change. As part of our standard inspection process, we carry out a thorough check-over on every vehicle that enters the workshop.

During the inspection, we discovered that the front brake pads had started to de-laminate and separate from the backing plates. Had this gone unnoticed for much longer, it could have resulted in a serious braking failure, putting the customer at significant risk.

This is a great example of why regular vehicle inspections are so important — sometimes they uncover issues that aren’t immediately obvious but could have major safety consequences.

One from last week, lovely N57 in for a timing chain, this is close to being one of the worst stretched chains we have seen to date on an N57!! Not only that, it had a few other surprises such as a few melted plugs and sensors. Everything rectified and now back running and sounding as it should :).

Even though we have only worked a 4 day week this week, it certainly hasn't been a quiet one.

Timing chain, many many clutches and the smaller jobs in-between.
