We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Colin passed his Part 3 test today at the Launceston Test Center!
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Colin over the last 14 hours, fine-tuning his skills and preparing him for today’s result. His commitment to the process has been second to none. Colin has worked incredibly hard, and his dedication to high-quality tuition really shone through.

I’ll be the first to admit it—at 57 years old, the world of TikTok felt like a foreign country to me. I was a total skeptic, but after several colleagues suggested it as a way to reach the community, I took the plunge.
To my genuine amazement, JEM Driving Instructor Training and Development has found a real home there. In just two weeks, we’re seeing 4,000 to 5,000 views per video. It turns out there’s a huge appetite for high-level professional standards, even in short bursts!

Mastering these seven elements—which I have nicknamed 'The Magnificent Seven'—can turn a lesson around, transforming a potential 'fail' into a confident 'success'.
This isn't about rote memorisation or following a script. We are moving away from the rigid ghosts of the past and stepping into practical, real-world development that gets genuine results through client-centred techniques.

What We Will Cover:
Workshop 1: Lesson Planning We’ll look at how to set goals that actually mean something to the pupil, ensuring the lesson structure is adaptable and relevant to their specific needs.

Driving instructors!

If you’d asked me two weeks ago about TikTok, I would have told you it wasn’t really my thing…especially for work purposes so I was very hesitant to start, but I figured I’d give it a go just to share some quick hints, tips and CPD for our own clients.

10 days later and for some reason the response has been huge. It’s already my biggest audience across any platform. What started as a small (let’s see) project for our clients has quickly turned into a massive community of ADIs and PDIs nationally.

After the success of our very own Lauren Henderson I’m pleased to announce that Nick Weston and Ed Haskil have passed their part 2 instructors driving tests, both with zero driver faults. Ed passed in Exeter on Tuesday and Nick this morning in Cambourn.

Our trainers hold advanced driver qualifications which is a massive benefit to our clients in preparing them for part 2 tests. We also have in depth knowledge of all the South West part 2 test routes which is an incredibly advantage.
