Ford Focus came in from a local garage with the rear driver’s door not opening.

Initial checks found that both the power window and central locking functions were inoperative on that door only. After carrying out a diagnostic scan, there was no communication with the rear door module.

Knowing the communication wiring runs through the front door, I inspected the wiring loom and found the window glass had been chafing against it, resulting in a broken wire.

The damaged wire was repaired and all door functions were restored successfully ✅

This Ford Fiesta came in to have the wet timing belt replaced. These belts are known for premature failure due to the belt material degrading over time.

With 65k miles on the clock, this belt was still in good condition, but the customer chose to replace it for peace of mind and preventative maintenance.

Ford Ranger Raptor came in with a lack of power, limiting the vehicle to 35 mph.

After checking live data, I identified that the low fuel pressure sensor was giving incorrect readings. I replaced the sensor and, as there was no record of the fuel filter ever being changed, fitted a new fuel filter as well.

Following a road test, the truck was restored to full power. ✅

Ford transit custom in for a number of electrical faults including central locking faults and the alarm going off randomly.

Unfortunately this customer had been to the dealer and charged him to replace components which didn’t fix the issue.

The customer diagnosed this fault themselves by finding the corrosion in the body control module.

I fitted the new module, programmedand coded the keys using the dealer tool.

All faults gone and the van back on the road earning ✅
