The one where everyone suddenly discovered whether their air con still worked.

Air conditioning issues don’t usually appear out of nowhere in summer - they build up quietly over winter when the system sits unused.

During colder months, seals can dry out, refrigerant levels can gradually drop, and moisture inside the system can lead to reduced efficiency. Cabin filters also take a beating from damp, pollen and general road debris, which all adds up to weaker performance when you need it most.

So when that first bit of heat arrives… the system simply can’t deliver what you expect anymore.

If the warmer weather earlier this year exposed a weakness, it’s worth getting ahead of it now rather than waiting for the next hot spell.
