Was asked to give this customer a quote to supply and fit a swirl flap delete kit which involves removing the inlet manifold, reason for this is they found that someone had attempted to do this and was leaking, sure enough once the inlet was removed and removed the gun gum they’d used to attempt to seal it, I had found two of the bolts they’d used had worked themselves loose which if the nut had fallen off would of caused internal damage! After removing the bolts and cleaned the manifold I fitted the correct b**g kit with a sealant as well to make sure this was a lifetime fix with no leaks, once all back together carried out road test and confirmed there no leaks from manifold and another happy customer🙂 Also found out that the customer struggled to find someone that does this kind of work so if you’re looking for a quote give me a message and will happily do so👍🏻

This customer complained of gearbox issues after a little investigation found the internals of the gearbox had failed causing whining noises and loss of gears, replaced gearbox with a reconditioned unit also clutch, dual mass flywheel and new gearbox oil. Once the work was done a road test was carried out and confirmed vehicle now has all gears with no untoward noises!
