Take a look at some fantastic fungi in these phenomenal photos that Julie has kindly shared with us, with photos taken around Moss Wood. Fungi are fascinating and a vital part of our local ecosystem - and a really good indicator of how healthy our local wildlife is overall. These black ones here are known as dead man's fingers - a little grim! - but how many others here can you name?

As the nights are gradually starting to draw back in, the sunsets are coming in earlier bit by bit. We get absolutely stunning sunsets at Moss Wood - it's one of our favourite things to see especially in the Autumn and Winter.
