Chester Marathon 2026

What a great day running around Chester and Wrexham!

The route was fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant, and the support through the little villages and Chester city centre was amazing from start to finish.

Pace was good from the get-go, and I settled into a lovely rhythm, feeling strong and comfortable until mile 20, when the dreaded cramp started in both quads.

Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as my last marathon, but it still turned the final six miles into a stop-start battle to the finish line.

BUT…

I GOT A NEW PB!

And not just by a little bit… I smashed my previous time by 30 minutes and 22 seconds!

Chester Marathon – 4:14:52

Windermere Marathon – 4:45:14

Absolutely delighted with that result, especially considering how the final few miles went.

Marathons are never easy, and there’s always something to learn. Plenty of positives to take away, a few things to work on, and hopefully more time to shave off the next one.

Onto the next one…

Simply lovely!

Free valet was giving out Today.

And no, this isn’t for likes, shares etc, it’s giving something back to two people that have been loyal to me from the start.

Phil & Jess have trusted me to clean their own vehicles and their fleet of Wallings Vans and Ice Cream Vans for many years.

Building that client relationship is key in any business.

Thank you Phil & Jess 🤝

I’m very lucky I get to work on some beautiful cars. Keep them coming! 👌
