At Cambrian 4x4 Ltd, we see many different types of Land Rovers in various states of repair and condition and our aim is to get the vehicle to the best condition, within the customer's budget and practicalities.
Sometimes however, certain jobs become more of a passion and go to the more extremes of repairs and preparations. This 2006 Defender 90 TD5 County Station Wagon was most certainly one of those!!
Sadly the vehicle came to us, following a fairly serious road accident - was a very much loved vehicle to the customer and we were asked to return it to as best condition as possible. Whilst it had the usual rechassis and mechanical work carried out that is fairly normal for us, it needed some "serious body work" In fact, there are actually only 4 pieces of the body that were re used from the original body, in the build -

The rest were either new or second hand - all painted in the correct colour.
The job took nearly 18 months - much of that timeframe due to waiting/ searching for and getting body parts painted. - the build was scheduled in phases based on parts availability
MOTed last week and handed back on Saturday, we are very pleased to see this great car, with quite a story, back in its owners hands!!!
