One of my customers bought his son his first car and asked me to check over the whole car. Car is all good, n/s front lower control arm bush is starting to crumble but no excess play, front brakes need refreshing and VHC all clear👌🏼✅

Another job ticked off the list✅ I expected to find those bits in the sump!

I’m renaming the project to Project XKS. Jaguar only released an XK8 and the XKR back between 1996 and 2006. The plan is to build something in between, essentially an XK8 ‘sport’, more power and sharper handling👌🏼

New timing chain kit for this little Hyundai i20✅ too much slack in the chain causing two error codes, p0011 and p0014(intake and exhaust camshafts to advanced) customer had already replaced both VVT solenoids but upon my inspection I found the chain had stretched. Afterwards, I cleared the code and test drove, all good👌🏼

Next another oil and filter change since replacing the timing chains, sump off and inspection of the bottom of the engine and oil strainer/pick up. Clean, then button back up with a fresh oil sump gasket✅
