🔧 Vehicle Service Technician
📍 North Staffordshire | £27,000–£30,000 DOE | 9-Day Fortnight
CVM World is looking for a practical and reliable Vehicle Service Technician to join our growing workshop team.
This role would suit someone who has completed a college course, apprenticeship or equivalent training in vehicle maintenance and has around 2–3 years' experience in the trade. We're looking for someone confident with routine servicing, brake discs and pads, general maintenance and basic MOT-related repairs.
This is not a senior diagnostic technician role. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, takes pride in doing the job properly and wants to continue developing within a supportive team.
🔧 The role will include:
• Routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
• Brake discs, pads and other consumable repairs
• Basic MOT repair work
• Vehicle checks and preparation
• Supporting the wider workshop team
• Working safely and efficiently to a good standard
✅ We are looking for someone with:
• 2–3 years' practical experience in a mechanic or service technician role
• College qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Confidence with basic servicing and maintenance
• Good attention to detail
• A reliable and positive approach
• Full UK driving licence
