My veteran followers will be all too familiar with my 'form over function rants'.. π’
Basically, it's when something isn't designed with ongoing upkeep in mind - it looks great (form) but it's totally impractical (function) - the usual suspects are;
- Wall sunk shower valves
- Bath taps on the longside, against the wall
- Tiled bath panels, without access points built in
- Hidden toilet cisterns, without access points built in
This from today, however, takes all of the above to the extreme!! π₯΄
Have you ever seen such complexity for a mere bathtub!?! I'd bet there's less plumbing on a submarine ππ
Water jets, bubble nozzles, and a side mounted tap all in one go - what could possibly go wrong!?!
Well, it did go wrong - there's no way of getting to that tap without pulling the tub out, so in this case my customer made the wise decision to do away with it entirely and have a normal tub and tap set - far simpler, and future proofed.
All done within the day!
In other news, I finished off the day by getting beaten (embarrassingly, repeatedly) at Connect4 by a 4 year old - time for bed I think π€¦
