Morning all, Ian here.

I wanted to have a quick word, because we've reached that point in the year again. We're building our last four stock vehicles of the summer, and once these are done, my attention turns to getting ready for the October shows.

Thirty years I've been doing this now, and the one thing I always say to anyone looking for a motorhome is the same: come and see it. Open the cupboards, sit in the lounges, have a proper poke about. You can't tell how something's built from a photo, and build quality is the thing that matters long after the excitement of buying has worn off.

So here's what we've got on the go right now, all being built between batches, and all still with time to get your name on and make your own.

There's a VW 680 Twin, well underway and due within the month. A Fiat 630 Twin, which has been so popular the last one sold almost the moment it was finished. Our flagship 630 RD with the rear U-shaped lounge, a layout people have loved for years, and you can have that with the rear panel option too. And a Fiat S4, with forward-facing seating and a slightly more European feel to it.

You'll know us for our selfish two-berths, built around two people who want comfort and a bit of luxury. We've always built quality over quantity, and that isn't going to change.

You don’t really buy a motorhome.

You buy mornings. The kind that start with a coastline outside the window instead of an alarm clock. The kind where the only decision is whether to make another coffee or go for a walk first.

You buy weekends that don’t end on Sunday because you’re already where you wanted to be. Friday afternoons that start at lunchtime because you finished early and the van’s packed.

There are two ways to build a motorhome.

The first is to build them on a production line, churning out hundreds a year, all the same, finished by whoever’s on shift that week.

The second is to build one at a time. Hands on the wood. Eyes on every detail. One craftsman from start to finish, and it’s not done until he says it’s done.
