Keep finding a dark patch underneath your car? Don’t ignore it.

A small oil leak can quickly become a bigger problem if the oil level drops too low. Depending on where the leak is coming from, it could be something relatively straightforward such as a seal or gasket, or a sign of a fault that needs further investigation.

If you’re regularly seeing patches where you park, check your oil level and get the car inspected rather than simply topping it up and hoping for the best.

Catching a leak early can help prevent a much more expensive repair further down the line. 🔧

🔩 Nail in your tyre? It doesn’t automatically mean you need a new one.

Whether a puncture can be safely repaired depends on several factors, including where the damage is, its size and the overall condition of the tyre.

Damage within the permitted central tread area may be repairable, provided it meets the required safety standards. Punctures too close to the shoulder or sidewall generally can’t be safely repaired, meaning replacement will be necessary.

It’s also important not to keep driving on a deflated tyre, as this can cause internal damage and turn an otherwise repairable puncture into a tyre that needs replacing.

If you spot a nail or screw, leave it in place if possible and let us inspect the tyre properly.

We’ll check it and advise whether it can be safely repaired or needs replacing. 👍
