It started off as a bit of banter 👀
Well that escalated slowly, but the number was used 📞 😂
We now have plenty of pit space for open days upstairs, hopefully enough downstairs’ for our regular Tuesday and Friday sessions.
The track is longer by 2.4m and boy can you tell 😁
The big bend, we missed the banked corner at the ‘Chicken Shed’ (CS) and learnt how to do it properly 🤌🏽
There is no lip/bump going into the bend , the whole track has been lifted ⬆️ The slope is a mere 6 degs, it’s SO smooooth, and unlike at the CS, if you get it wrong you can drive away and won’t be stuck at the bottom. The inner bend has a slight slope too 🔥 It drives so nice, plus there are proximity sensors built into the wall, and of course the bell 🔔
New lights have been installed with more street lights to be added. We tested it briefly on Saturday, turned every light off in the building, except those on and over the track, ‘STREETO under moonlight ‘ 🌚 So fetch your shell with lights and you’re in for a treat when it gets dark 😁
We have made some other improvements which we are hoping will help keep the place warmer in winter 🤧 no one likes a cold venue 🥶
It would have taken an awful longer if it wasn’t for , he took a week off work to help us in the first week 😲 The mezz came at 11am on Mon 11th May, the carpet was laid on it, Thurs 💨
