Are you even a learner driver if you haven't cancelled your indicator to then accidently put the other indicator on. Then you try to turn that indicator off but then put the other one back on.

Then before you know it you're having a mini fight with the indicator stick and you're instructors getting stressed trying to tell you to leave it and it'll go off, but you can't hear them through the clicking of the indicator stick going on and off 😅🤣

🫣Just when I thought my tests were over, two lucky learners managed to pick up cancellations for today, and both passed! 🙌🏻

I’m absolutely delighted for Beth, who passed with zero minors, and Jayne, who passed easily, even with her husband’s parking creating an extra challenge on test!😜

👏🏻 Well done girls! Just shows the hard work beforehand pays off as you were able to grab those tests and get the job done. Safe driving and thank you for my lovely gifts. 🥰🥰

🤦🏽‍♀️Hands up if you’ve been in this situation at the mini roundabout?☝🏻

You’re approaching, slowing down, giving way to the right (because that’s how roundabouts work), see it’s clear, carry on and boom 🤯 someone on the left does none of those things but thankfully, because we were following the rules we were slow enough to make up for their mistakes. You’re welcome.😑

How do I teach learners who are approaching from the left like the dangerous driver in this clip?

- Slow down
- Use a low gear (usually 1st in my car)
- Look right
- Be ready to stop.

Why? Because you can’t see through the building and we must GIVE WAY TO THE RIGHT at a roundabout. 🤷🏻‍♀️

And don’t get me started on drivers coming from the right, going straight ahead but signalling right…. That’s a video for another day.🫣🤪

“Illegal to ride on public roads, pavements and other public spaces”

Following recent incidents involving E-scooters, we would like to provide information about their safe and lawful use.

Although these vehicles can be legally purchased in Scotland, they are illegal to ride on public roads, pavements and other public places. They can only lawfully be used on private land with landowner’s permission.

Please consider the dangers of E-scooters and remember that anyone purchasing one has a responsibility to be aware of the law and implications.

Riders are often uninsured, unprotected and inexperienced. Travelling at high speeds, instability and poor visibility increases the risk of serious injury. Illegal use in shared spaces puts pedestrians and other road users at risk.

Enforcement action can be taken against the rider and those who purchase these machines. Police can lawfully seize E-scooters when used illegally.
