Sorry I’ve been quiet recently but I’ve been in hospital.
I won’t be back in the workshop for another week or so but I thought I’d post a photo of my lockdown project, “Little Tinker”, which I sold not long after I took this pic.
Spanish SX150 frame, GT186 engine. Custom diamond tank, Li headset, 2” over forks. The little toolbox is from a BSA.

So, having just replaced the clutch master cylinder on the truck, the slave has now given up the ghost.
Couldn’t have come at a worse time as I have two cars leaving the workshop AND the DVLA coming to inspect the shop scoot on Tuesday.
I’ve ordered a new slave cylinder from the States but have no idea when that’ll arrive so I won’t be at the yard for a few days.

Evening all.
It’s going to be a slow couple of weeks in the workshop with four hospital appointments over the next week and a half but I thought I’d update you on Sister Ray.
I have a Ford V6 and gearbox which I’m going to shoehorn into the car then I still have to remake the wooden door frames, fit the NOS skins to the new frames before I can fit them. I also have to fit the glass and all new brake pipes and fuel lines before I can even think about making a start on the interior.
It’s a mammoth task and bearing in mind I’m doing it all on my own with my body gradually failing me, I’m genuinely uncertain if it’s ever going to be finished.
