Today's job was a Kia with lumpy power delivery. No check engine light just the physical symptoms. After a look at live data it was obvious the MAF sensor was reading incorrectly. Huge carbon deposits found blocking any accurate readings. All cleaned and back on the road.

Tonights job for a busy NHS worker. Customer complaint was car kept going into limp mode and lit up like a Christmas tree. Fault tracked to the MAP sensor being the culprit. As you can see the boost pressure should mirror the revs somewhat. New sensor fitted and pipe work cleaned of carbon, car now has full power back and no faults.

Another broken spring today, replaced both sides and back on the road again.

Customer contacted me about engine management light coming on and car was in limp mode. Quick diagnostic check showed EGR fault. EGR was removed and cleaned and the vehicle back to normal working order.

Today's job was a complete front brake rebuild (discs, pad and slide pins) on a Isuzu Rodeo. As you can see from the pics and they had been rusted on solid for a long time. The excessive heat had caused the bearing to wear, so this was replaced too.
