DF Driver Training I’m Derek, an independent ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) covering Kirkcaldy and surrounding areas.

Alongside teaching, I work as a Nursing Auxiliary with NHS Fife a role that’s helped me become a calm, patient, and understanding driving instructor. 🚗✨

Controlled breathing helps calm nerves for sure 👌

Breathing exercises are one of the quickest and most natural ways to manage stress and anxiety.

Take a calming breath by gently inhaling through your nose and slowly breathing out through pursed lips whenever you feel anxious or nervous.

We have more breathing exercises included in our Nervous Drivers Calming Kit.
