This is a 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 — an important part of your vehicle’s clutch system.

Its job is to apply pressure to the clutch plate, helping transfer power from the engine to the gearbox so you can smoothly change gears and drive properly.

Over time, the pressure plate can wear down from heat and friction, leading to problems like:

⚠️ Difficulty changing gears
⚠️ Juddering or vibrations
⚠️ Burning smells

If left too long, clutch issues can lead to more expensive repairs and even leave you stranded.

⚠️ 𝗔 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 ⚠️

While driving on the motorway, one of our customers suffered a broken spring, which then caused a cut tyre, damaged drop link and damaged top strut mounting.

Thankfully, they managed to stay in control of the vehicle and get home safely — because situations like this could have ended very differently.

It’s a powerful reminder of how quickly things can happen on the road, and why unusual noises, knocks or changes in the way your car drives should never be ignored.

Regular vehicle inspections and dealing with issues early can help prevent serious damage and, most importantly, keep you and others safe on the road.

This vehicle came in with a slipping clutch, making gear changes difficult and reducing performance. We replaced the full clutch kit and got it driving smoothly again.

This vehicle came in needing new rear discs and brake pads after signs of wear and reduced braking performance. Safety always comes first — so we got everything replaced and back to top condition.
