190 Evo 2 Exhaust Saga.
So around 23 years ago I made up a full 3" Stainless exhaust system as the old original 2.5" system was pretty shot. I was well pleased with it because although a larger diameter, I had actually ended up with more ground clearance. All those years ago it didn't matter about what stuck out the back. The 3" to twin tail pipes silencer did the job, it having had various tail pipes over the years. 23 years later it was time to make it right. A good friend sourced the ceramic coated original style tail pipes for me at tremendous expense. More than a standard full system tbh 😵💫😢 The problem was the original twin pipes were pretty close together so they couldn't be fitted. No problem, I'll just get a different silencer but that deemed impossible. The tail pipes were then left with someone who dealt with some aftermarket exhaust suppliers to try to have one made. 8 mths later and no joy. Needs must, so my only option was to make one myself. It took an age and many many hours, however its done now and was well worth the effort. 👌👌👌
