STRONGER TOGETHER | THE FULL STORY 🎗️
Over the last few weeks, we’ve shared three parts of Tim’s story: the uncertainty of life after service, the turning point one conversation created and the new purpose he found through work and community.
Now, we’re sharing his story in full.
For Tim, the next chapter meant investing in his own coffee pod and creating a working environment where conversations could happen and others from the Armed Forces community could feel welcome.
A 2024 survey of almost 5,000 veterans found that 63% would be more likely to seek help if they knew they would receive veteran-informed support. It’s a reminder of how important it is to create spaces where people feel understood and able to talk.
The route forward will look different for everyone. It might mean finding employment, learning new skills, building a business or simply finding people who understand.
For Tim, it began with a conversation and became a new life built on his own terms.
