Vw 2.0 tdi engine in for a crank seal oil leak.
these wet belts are fitted to every make and model even vans look at the wear on this wet oil pump belt!
Only on 100,000miles good job we did it as the belt was thin and breaking up and it was the original cambelt.
We recommend this wet belt being replaced if your car/van is on this sort of mileage !

Do you own a 4 wheel drive Audi Volkswagon Seat Skoda?
This is why adding on a haldex service is recommended .
Sludgy deposits block the filter and cause damage to the rear differential and haldex (4wd) system
This car had done! 47,000miles 6years old
Also don't forget the dsg oil & filter change if its an automatic.
Even if its manual we would recommend changing gearbox oil ever 60k or 6 years!

One of the most over looked service items on volkswagon skoda seat and audi cars !
Dsg oil changes there recommended every 40,000 miles.
This oil change is Not included in a regular service !
But we will advise it on a service if it has history of the dsg oil being changed or not.
Make sure before booking a service then we can include it in the service for you if it hasn't been changed.
As the pictures show there is a filter just like in your engine which needs to be changed with the oil.
Why change the oil?
to prolong the life of the gearbox by reducing wear as these gearboxs can get very expensive and specialist tools are required to repair.
prevent that with keeping up to date with the gearbox oil changes 🙂 oh and if its 4wd your haldex oil to!

we do 4 wheel alignments especially with all those pots holes about !
Even on lowered cars with our magnetic wheel adapters.
Using a beissbarth wheel alignment set.
Keep those tyres wearing evenly
We would recommend doing your wheel alignment at least once a year.
Unless we have done suspension work which means its already been done !

A few more wet belts done recently we can't stress enough about oil changes! Every 10,000 miles or every year its the blood of your engine !

New year more wets belts ! = engines saved !!!
If you have a peugeot , citroen , vauxhall and it hasn't had one done nows the time to do it !
This peugeot was on 56,000 miles and look how badly the belt is cracked and the teeth starting to detach from the belt.

Alot of cars now use a wet belt basically a cambelt that runs in oil.
HONDA
FORD
PEUGEOT
CITROEN
VAUXHALL
regular servicing stops these belts perishing in our experience we recommend 10,000mile oil changes as manufacturers intervals are way to long!
