Do you own a bmw with the n47 2.0 diesel engine?
We are seeing more and more through the workshop with noisy and streched timing chains. It's essential to keep your vehicle serviced on time using the correct lubricants to the manufacturers specifications (we recommend a yearly oil change). Don't let your service indicator go into the red.
Although it can be a labour intensive job to replace the timing chains at the back of your engine, it's much more cost effective than repairing a engine that's chain has snapped. If you suspect yours is noisy then get it booked in for an inspection.

We remove your engine, replace all 3 chains, tensioners, sprockets, guides and any associated gaskets and bolts. It's also recommended to replace the clutch and flywheel if the vehicle is high mileage.

Our trained technicians carry this out in our super clean and well equipped workshop using the correct tooling, which is ideal for jobs like this. (see picture)
