POV:
Customer books in for a remap expecting “more power”…
…but within 10 minutes of diagnostics we find:
❌ Injector correction faults
❌ EGR valve not responding correctly
❌ Air mass faults stored in ECU
❌ Signs the engine may already be compensating for an underlying issue
This is EXACTLY why we don’t believe in blindly flashing cars and sending them out the door.
Anyone can upload a file.
Very few people stop and ask:
“WHY is the ECU unhappy in the first place?”
Because here’s the reality:
A remap doesn’t fix mechanical problems.
It amplifies them.
More boost + more fuel + more load on an unhealthy engine = expensive noises later.
So instead of rushing the job for easy money, we paused the process, analysed the live data properly, documented everything, and built a plan around protecting the vehicle FIRST.
