Huge congratulations to Ryan Bell, on passing your driving test first time this afternoon with only 4 d/f.
And you got stuck in traffic so your test lasted over an hour.
That smile says it all.
You always listened well mate, and done well on your lessons from day one. And what a birthday present to yourself.
Thank you so much for the gifts, what a lovely surprise that was.
I will miss our lessons big time.

Congratulations to Kaitlin Peters on passing your driving test today with only 3 d/f. You worked yourself into a mess before your test, questioning everything you was doing, and doubting yourself. And then you went and pulled off an absolutely fantastic result. Like I said to you, you know how to drive, and you proved it to yourself today. Well done. I hope you get a car sorted soon. Curious about what happens during a driving test? Here's what to expect on test day.

An eyesight check 👀
You'll read a number plate from 20 metres away or 20.5 metres if it's an old-style plate.

'Show me, tell me' vehicle safety questions 💭
You'll answer 2 questions about vehicle safety. The 'tell me' question comes before you start driving and the 'show me' question while you're on the move.

General driving ability ✅
You'll drive on a variety of roads, but not on motorways, including 20 to 35 minutes of independent driving, following either a sat nav, traffic signs, or both.

Reversing your vehicle 🚗
You'll be asked to do one of the following: parallel park, park in a bay, or pull up on the right and reverse 2 car lengths. Your examiner will let you know which one.

Knowing what's coming can make test day feel a lot less daunting.

Huge congratulations to Louie Cox on passing your driving test today with zero faults. What a result mate. It’s been a long road, it’s had its ups and downs, but you never gave up.
