15 years of neglect, turned back in one day! 💎

At Gooding’s Automotive Detailing we recently had the pleasure of transforming this tired, neglected, and heavily used Volvo back into a refreshed, sharp, and gleaming condition! 💎

For 15 years, this car was used for all sorts of daily tasks, family days out, trips to the forest, shopping runs… you name it! But this is where we came in to truly turn back the time on this vehicle and present it the way it was truly intended to be!

For us personally we love challenges like this, it allows us to truly showcase our years of skills, knowledge and craftsmanship to the next level, showing what can truly be achieved in a days work on your vehicle! 💎

You may see the results, but how did we achieve this? Preparation is a vital factor in our quality control, our preparation included a very thorough wash and decontamination of the paintwork to remove years of grime, brake dust, tar and iron contamination in preparation for our polishing stage!

Once our polishing stage commenced we opted to carry our single stage enhancement to the paintwork, this allowed us to remove years of cloudy, hazy and swirls leaving behind a rich, deep glossy shine revealing the true finish we so desired! Paint perfection was not the goal here, instead we wanted to lift away years of neglect to truly bring back the long lost gloss that was hidden under it all! We tested multiple pad and polish combinations to allow us to find the correct formula to achieve the results we were looking for! 💎

Lastly, we added a light layer of protection to enhance the paintwork even further, with the protection added we turned the gloss up by 10, it also allowed us to know that the vehicle will stay cleaner for longer, with the protection making the paintwork incredibly hydrophobic allowing dirt and dust to not stick around! Our work is precious to us and when we know a vehicle we’ve detailed will continue looking the best it can it truly makes us proud of our work every time! 💎

The end result? A vehicle truly turned back in time, with how it was intended to look, achieving the highest possible clarity and gloss levels in the process! It truly just goes to show that no matter what vehicle you book in with us we can certainly transform it back to its best! And of course one extremely happy client who did not think it was possible for their vehicle to look so good. Norfolks cleanest Audi Q5? We think so! 💎

At Gooding’s Automotive Detailing we recently had the pleasure of refreshing this highly specked Q5 back to an incredible, glossy, and elegant standard ahead of the warm summer weather ahead!

Some eagle eyed viewers may recognise this vehicle as we previously detailed this car a few months prior! And with the owner caring about their vehicle a lot, they asked us to transform it back to the day it left us all those months ago. And we gladly accepted the task! 💎

Over the last three years running this business it’s definitely taught us one thing, you only get out what you put in! 💎

Since the start we have worked incredibly hard to deliver the most incredible, exceptional and innovative service to our clients, but delivering this has not been easy in the slightest. Late nights, early mornings, set backs, and complications have all played their part but we would not change the journey in the slightest.

A tarnished Tesla, turned terrific! 💎

At Gooding’s Automotive Detailing we enjoy the pure satisfaction of a great car transformation, and when we we’re recently called to give this neglected Tesla some much needed TLC we were excited to see the end results, which turned out to be incredible!

We performed our single stage paint enchantment package on this vehicle, allowing us to remove around 60/70% of swirls and paint defects while also adding a ludicrous amount of gloss and clarity in the process.

With the paintwork being a non metallic finish, we needed to choose our polish and pad combination wisely to achieve the best results, in this case we found that our medium cut compound with a soft polishing pad truly gave us the best finish we needed… once we locked in our combination we proceeded to polish the whole vehicle with our range of different sized machine polishers to ensure no area was missed!

To finish, we added some durable protection to really turn up the gloss and clarity, and with this protection added the vehicle will stay cleaner for a much longer duration, in addition to this the interior received a much needed thorough vacuum with the leather also receiving a deep clean and condition in the process!

The end result? A beautifully presented daily driver, with a rich, deep gloss and protection durable enough to take on all that the roads have to offer, and of course one very happy client! 💎

Your vehicle, our excellency 💎.

Our client recently took advantage of our services by commissioning us to perform our luxurious ceramic coating package on their newly acquired BMW 3 series, and the results truly speak for themselves on this one!

With any ceramic coating the prep work is the upmost important part, we take care in delivering the best results, and the prep work should be never neglected! A thorough wash and decontamination is performed before any machine polishing can begin, this ensures absolutely zero cross contamination during the polishing process, failing to prepare in this circumstance would lead to terrible results which we simply do not endorse!

Once the decontamination had been completed, we swiftly moved onto our machine polishing stage, another vital sector in this detail, we tested multiple polish/pad combinations to find the best finish, we ultimately decided that our medium cut polish/pad combination worked the best. With this combination we were able to achieve a significant cut to the paintwork removing holograms and swirl marks while also leaving the paintwork with perfect clarity and sharpness. 💎

Now, time for the cherry on top, the crème de la crème…. Or however you would pronounce it! Our ceramic coating stage, this thorough, time consuming process requires absolute precision, focus, and evaluation to achieve the perfect results. With every ceramic coating application we inspect the paintwork panel by panel with our bright inspection torches, we check for any high spots or imperfections that may be left behind from the ceramic coating. Our quality control is second to none in every aspect!

Now that the ceramic coating is laid down on the paintwork, this vehicle is now protected from environmental contamination, bug and bird etchings and is also incredibly easy to maintain for the next three years! Our durable ceramic layer packs the absolute punch while also adding ridiculous levels of gloss, clarity, and depth to the paintwork leaving yoy with the shine you’ve always dreamed of!

From filthy, to absolutely flawless in a days work! 💎

Take this incredible looking golf R for example, our client recently reached out to us to give her vehicle the ultimate makeover, in this case our client opted for our single stage enhancement package to ultimately rejuvenate the paintwork and bring it back to a crisp showroom standard!

With any package that requires machine polishing, a thorough wash and decontamination is required to remove any embedded contaminants such as tar and iron deposits, without the removal of these contaminants it can cause serious issues while the polishing work is being carried out, these contaminants will be picked up by the polishing pad and will stick to the pad causing scratches and swirls.

Once the wash stage was completed, we swiftly moved onto machine polishing and protecting the vehicle. We expertly chose a pad and polishing combo that would give us the best possible results within our time and the clients budget, once we found the correct combination we proceeded to machine polish the whole vehicle with our range of different sized machine polishers, this allowed us to get into every little area ensuring full vehicle coverage was achieved.

Once the machine polishing stage was completed we could then seal in all of our hard work with a durable wax layer to not only give the paintwork a rich, wet look gloss and shine but to also add a layer of hydrophobicity with added protection from light environmental contamination. Ultimately making the vehicle stay cleaner for longer! 💎

A jaw dropping car, a jaw dropping colour, and jaw dropping results! 💎

Today we traveled up to St Ives to carry out our ceramic coating package on this beautiful Bentley, we simply cannot stress how amazing the colour of this vehicle looked, and with our ceramic coating being applied we amplified the gloss and clarity levels through the roof!

With any new vehicle, protecting it properly from day one is essential, not only does it give your vehicle the best start in life, but it also gives you peace of mind knowing that it’s protected for years to come!

With this vehicle, we applied a three year coating to the paintwork, followed up by a wheel and glass coating to fully seal the entire vehicle’s exterior, not only does our coating of choice make the vehicle incredibly durable and easy to clean, but also acts as a sacrificial layer on top of the clear coat, providing protection against bug and bird etchings, sap and various other environmental contaminants. 🛡️

Handing the car back, better than when it left! 💎

We were recently called to resurrect the cleanliness of this Land Rover Discovery as our client will be handing this vehicle back to the dealership in the coming weeks.

Upon first inspection, we could see that this vehicle has had a hard life, being used in every way possible and of course, getting dirty in the process! Our deep clean package was performed on this vehicle, but as we like to go above and beyond with our clients we threw a twist into the mix that made the end result so much better than they imagined! 💎

Yes our deep clean package would have made the vehicle look incredible, but we saw more potential to better the end result entirely! To truly unlock more gloss, and add the feeling of having a new car again we performed a single stage enhancement polish to the paintwork. This allowed us to not only achieve a rich, glossy, and defined finish but it also removed a handful of blessings and scratches left behind from neglecting the vehicles paintwork over the years, as a dealership would pick up on this we were thrilled with the outcome and it also saved our client a unexpected damage bill from the dealership!

The exterior of the vehicle was not the only area that received a thorough pamper, the interior, and engine bay received the same treatment. When it came to the interior no areas were missed, seats were lifted, cubbyholes were de clogged, seat crevices were cleansed, and the carpets were revitalised!
