Can’t let today finish without a quick shout for Connor Barr who passed his test today in his own car. I only shared your learning journey for a short while, but was delighted when you let me know you had passed your test today and I’m really pleased that the help I gave you was useful for passing your test. Well done Sir.

Proud Instructor moment!
Go Riley! What a lovely drive today to smash your test at Irvine Driving Test Centre. I have loved watching your confidence and skills grow and it’s been a huge pleasure to have been with you on this journey. Well done mate. I look forward to seeing you out and about when you get a set of wheels.

Super well done to Leanne, conquering her nerves to deliver a well earned pass at Irvine Driving Test Centre. Really proud of you Leanne. It’s been great fun along this journey. I’m sure we’ve both laughed and cried along the way and I’m so glad you’ve achieved this well deserved pass.

An open letter to SOME experienced drivers.

Driving instructors don’t make the rules, but we do try our best to follow them religiously.

This means we:
Stick to speed limits.
Stop at stop signs.
Make effective judgments for our safety and the safety of others.

We are tested to a higher standard of driving and face harsher penalties if our standards are not of the highest quality.

If you are not happy with us driving according the law, maybe it’s YOU that’s the problem.

Maybe YOU need some refresher lessons to re-learn how to drive appropriately.

Maybe YOU should have started your journey earlier so that you weren’t held up by someone driving properly.

I’m not saying we get everything right, every time, because we are all human, but before road-raging at a driving instructor, maybe reflect and think who is most likely to be doing the right thing.

If we have made a mistake, we’ll be the first to put our hand up!!

Test pass 100 today. It’s only fitting that it goes to Jozef, who has been on much of this journey with me.
So proud of you Jozef. I know how much this means to you and I so pleased to be able to share the moment with you. Be safe , drive chill and can’t wait to hear what car you pick.

100 test passes since starting this journey! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.
Thank you to my wife Linda for putting up with the late nights and stress whilst I trained and established the business.
Thank you to my friends and family who I have spent less time with than I hoped.
Thank you to all the lovely people who have put their trust in me and allowed me to help them along their journey to becoming qualified drivers.

Well done Bruce for smashing your test at Ayr this morning. Lovely composed drive and the outcome was never really in doubt. Nice job mate. Look forward to seeing you out and about on the streets of Ayrshire and hopefully wetting a line with you to catch some fish!🎣 🚗👏🍾😁

Great Job Julie, smashing your test today in your own car. Sorry your test coincided with my holiday and couldn’t be there with you. What an awesome drive. I hope this makes the world of difference to you and the kids. I look forward to seeing you out and about. So proud 😀🚗👏🍾
