Well done Cole. Passed first time at Irvine Driving Test Centre today. A lovely drive and well executed manoeuvres.
Also, credit to Dad, Iain, for all his help and input, getting Cole driving and ready for me to polish a few edges! Nice team effort guys. Proud of you!

This is why I always say, the internet / TikTok / instagram / facebook / Google etc, is not the place to learn to drive! This crap was posted by someone claiming to be a driving instructor!
Please be aware of a supposed instructors credentials before listening to / watching their stuff.
Don’t undermine good tuition, which you have paid for, with this utter nonsense.

What’s happening with Test Shifting Apps?

I haven’t seen this personally yet, but I have copied this from another driving schools post (with permission).

“From 12 May 2026, it will be against the law for anyone other than the learner to book, change, swap or cancel a car driving test.

The service to book and manage driving tests for your pupils will close at 6pm on 11 May 2026. All transactions must be completed by then.”

Absolutely delighted to have helped this awesome dude realise his goal today at Irvine Driving Test Centre. It’s been a blast Kyle. Lovely drive today; even the examiner said so, and a very well deserved pass. See you on the mean streets of Irvine mate!

My learners are the best!!! It’s not unusual to get a wee card or treat from my learners when they pass and the sentiment is really lovely and appreciated.
Today, one of my ex-learners gave me these! She had them specially made and was a really awesome gift. Thank you Charmaine, what a lovely thought. ❤️😀🚗
