A super clean Tiger for Vijay!

After spending a bit of time on his gorgeous Scrambler 400, Vijay fancied going back to something with a bit more poke! After popping down for a quick look it was this stunning low miles Tiger 1050 that caught his eye. Luckily he was able to grab it before anyone else as this was a popular machine!

Time to catch up on the backlog of new bike pics again, apologies if you have been waiting patiently!

Up first is David with this simply stunning 40th Anniversary GSXR-1000! He was planning on trading his current GSXR-1000 in but decided that keeping it as a track bike was a better plan...my man!

Some of you who joined us on our very first 2025 MCS Staff Shop Runs back in April 2025 might remember us stopping to regroup in the village of Carsphairn. 🏍️🏍️🏍️

Our arrival certainly attracted a bit of attention from the local residents that day - especially the children, who loved seeing all the bikes! ❤️

Since then, we’ve actually had a couple of messages asking when we’d be heading back! Unfortunately, with our popular monthly runs now drawing to a close for the year, we won’t make it back to Carsphairn again in 2026.

But we did want to send our very best wishes to the Carricks O' Carsphairn Community Shop & Café, which officially opened its doors on Thursday 1st October. 🎉☕️🥪

So, if you’re ever heading through Carsphairn on your bike, why not pop in, grab a coffee and a bite to eat, and support this fantastic local community venture?

We’ll hopefully see you (and those wee bike fans!) again on a future MCS Staff Shop Run! 🏍️❤️

MCS Monthly Staff Sunday Run 🏍🛵

9:30am meeting for 10:00am departure

The planned route is down to Portpartrick and back.

Approximately 160 miles.

As usual this is a 125cc friendly run and you are free to join and leave the run as suits. And if you are new to biking or this is your first time coming on our staff runs - please come fueled up so you are ready to go.

Please also note there may not always be a back marker on these runs.

Our Staff monthly runs are not official events run by MCS Motorcycles but are social rides organized on a voluntary basis by the MCS employees on their Sunday day off.
Participants take part at their own risk, accepting full responsibility for their safety, actions, and roadworthiness of their motorcycles.

First SV-7 GX on the road award goes to Manuel!

Freshly armed with his new A licence, Manuel wanted something fun but still comfy enough for the odd ride to Italy. Perfect timing with the new SV-7 GX coming out then! Our man here is no stranger to awards too! If you feel like taking the bike out for a chippy then you should head to the Olympia chippy in Darvel which he owns. They won an award in 2023 from the Scottish Chippy Awards and our Greg will tell you it was very well deserved and still is in 2026!

No wonder Scott's so happy. These GSX-8TTs didn't hang about in this gorgeous green colour scheme and this was out very last one! Keep your eyes peeled though as there may be a stunning new colour just around the corner...

First bike time for Lyall!

After a very quick visit with his dad to find his first bike, Lyall was very lucky to turn up just as this low miles super clean CB 125 F arrived! One of the best bikes to get started on two wheels. Cheap to run and you can sell them for what you paid for them very easily. They never hang about!

It's a GT+ for Allan!

After spending a bit of time with his superb Tiger 1050, Allan fancied a bit of a change. Top of the list was understandably a GT+ as they are superb all rounders that keep the sport in sport tourer! Great choice!
