Yesterday afternoon was spent away from the hustle & bustle of the workshop & the ringing of the phones 📞 instead I joined Kevin at The Cluster recording a podcast.

With a lot of thought provoking chatter (on and off the record) we smashed out a great convo about the highs and lows of running an indie business with all its challenges.

2025 RACE OF REMEMBERANCE 🇬🇧

I’m so proud as today the team complete the final day of Racing in Anglesey.
This event is a unique 12 hour Endurance race & service of Rememberance run over Rememberance weekend by Mission Motorsport - The Forces'​ Motorsport Charity and BRSCC

The aim of Mission Motorsport - The Forces'​ Motorsport Charity is to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport.

Our team racing on their final day consists of 4 incredible drivers Leigh Brown, Mike Nash, Vere Oldridge & Neil McReynolds 🏁
They are racing in a BMW (48) under race team name PATRON RACING

It’s not about the winning 🥇 It’s literally about the taking part & supporting the charity and also a great honour racing alongside some inspiring ex forces drivers.
We salute you 🫡

🗞️ We made the papers … Well magazine 🗞️

We feature in the CAT magazine this month in a great article written by Adam Bernstein who writes about the reliability of EV vehicles in the Automotive sector.
Whilst the article depicts EVs as a concern for buyers on the repair & recovery roadside, the article actually highlights why percentages are marginally higher due to the gap in infrastructure.
More independent automotive companies should invest in EV repair & become compliant to enable growth within the sector closing the gap between the roadside recovery and repair.
Ultimately as the industry begins ironing out the issues surrounding EV repair let’s remember that we have had centuries (circa 1885) finding the solutions for the ICE vehicles 🚗

⚽️ Community Kicks Off Wellbeing ⚽️

Oxford United in the Community held a fantastic briefing last night on Oxford United Training Grounds.
Insights and strategies for wellbeing were presented by Dr Phil and we were fortunate to hear from Oxford United Football Club Players Gatlin O’Donkor and Joshua Emmanuel Johnson who attended to give their views on how to apply good mental health practices into everyday life and stress of performance & fitness.

Dr Phil Hopley has been a Mental Fitness Coach for the McLaren F1 Race Team over the last 4 years alongside many high profile clients in partnership with Cognacity so it was fantastic to share space with him.

What a way to motivate a Monday 💪
