So I have found out today I have a super power following my stroke , the ability not to give two f # lol 😂 had a customer who i invoiced 3 weeks ago ring to see when I’m fitting , now our policy has been for the last 10 years , payment, colour ordered as each are bespoke, the build and a fitting date given , that’s how it’s been for 10 years , so iv now sent him to a competitor who is £1000 more than me ,

The side of entrepreneurship that people rarely see. The freedom and rewards are visible; the responsibility, uncertainty, and mental load are mostly invisible.

That’s is the difference between being the boss and carrying the responsibility of the business. When employees go home, the day can be over for them. For the owner, the numbers, payroll, customers, suppliers, tax bills, staffing problems, and next month’s cash flow can keep running through your head at 2 a.m.

And after 12 years, that pressure can become a way of life. Holidays may look like freedom from the outside, while your mind is still checking whether everything is running properly back home.

There’s also something people often overlook: you carry the downside as well as enjoying the upside. The nice car and flexible holidays are the visible rewards. The years of risk, sacrifice, sleepless nights, and decisions that affected not just you but the livelihoods of other people—that is the price nobody sees.

Not posted in a while , as we only work as and when now , but still here plodding on,

So I have made the decision, to drop my work down to 3 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and alternate weekends for fitting,
Since my stroke I have been full steam ahead, but it’s catching up on me now , until I can get some movement back in my arm or the tremor under control, I can’t do full on, I will try to accommodate the best I can but I need to take this time to get better, sorry in advance
