🚨 LEARNER DRIVERS — PLEASE READ! 🚨

I have recently seen a big increase in messages from learners asking to use my car for their driving test because their driving instructor has let them down — sometimes very close to the test date.

I know how frustrating and upsetting this can be. You’ve spent time, money and countless hours preparing for your test, only to find yourself without a suitable car on the day. 😔

That’s why I want to remind all learner drivers of something really important:

⚠️ PLEASE CHECK YOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR IS GENUINE AND PROPERLY QUALIFIED.

Before committing to lessons or booking your driving test through an instructor, make sure they hold the correct and valid badge/licence.

🔹 Fully qualified driving instructors (ADI) should have a valid green ADI badge displayed when giving paid tuition.

🔹 Trainee driving instructors must have the appropriate valid trainee licence/badge.

📸 I’ve included photos below so you can see what the badges should look like.

Please don’t be afraid to ask your instructor to show you their badge and check that it is valid and belongs to them.

Your driving test is too important to risk being left without a car or instructor at the last minute.

Do your checks before you book. ✅

Please share this post with anyone learning to drive — especially new learners who may not know what to look for.

🚗 Stay safe, know who you’re paying, and make sure your instructor is properly qualified.

Good luck to everyone taking their test! 🤞🍀
