🚀 The MK4 Golf 1.8T - Bosch ME7.5 🚀

We had this OEM+ looking MK4 Golf in for a revision tune, it had previously been mapped by another tuner, it had a reserved stage 1 with a poor pop and bang map. The customer advised that he felt like the car wasn't boosting correctly and felt sluggish under acceleration. We don't advise putting a pop and bang map on vehicles with a catalytic converter.

We took a full read through the OBD and sent it off to be revised. We removed the pops and bangs but built a more reliable and consistent stage 1 file. Once the file was built we uploaded the file and asked the customer to take it for a test drive. Upon return we could see the smile from ear to ear (the best part of the job)!

The customer was over the moon, the car felt responsive, consistent and smooth.
