Well That was another Devils Own Rally klmc targa what a cracker young Martyn and faithfuls came up with again.
Well done to all the competitors that got round commiserations to those that didn’t finish.
Congratulations to Christian and Molly on win
Huge thanks to all the marshals that came out for it without you all there would be no event
On to our part set up all day Friday it didn’t quite go to plan with problems with bale distribution much hammering of stakes and what seamed like miles of tape
Saturday we were in the forest for 7 checking test 1/2 and doing as much as possible for test 3/4 much hammering and taping later, it was back in to test 1 to tape
In all the marshals
End of test 1 we then followed recovery in incase anything needed moving to get them through as well as replacing many demolished cones
After test 2 we then needed to make various changes ready for test 3 then managed to get my camera out for a bit
Big change for test 5 then a massive cleanup tanks to kevin for the equipment van and Rob Eastwood for keeping me out of the ditches a really enjoyable day
Many years ago I came up with a term martynism those that have done his events in the past will know, this one was not a full on martynism but as he said a test for the future… look out the real martynism is still to come!!!!
