A few months ago I had a fella turn up to the shop with a very unhealthy BMW R100 that he had rode over from Germany on a holiday. I was flat chat with other jobs that day and couldn't render much assistance, fortunately he was more than capable at spinning a spanner or two so I lent him tools and a spot to pull it apart. The R/H cylinder head had dropped a valve seat and mangled a few critical components! Components that he had back at home in Germany... He opted to have his insurance recover the bike and for me to store it for a few weeks. Today I received a lovely gift in the mail. Thank you Dirk, very kind gesture that sure put a smile on my face 😊

An unusual sight for most, a Laverda Mirage 1200! Having restored several Laverda's over the years, this one was in safe hands.
Having been stood for several years she was in need of some TLC. Carbs cleaned, fuel lines replaced, brakes and hydraulic clutch overhauled, a few typical Italian electrical faults cured and she's ready to ride once again 😎

Jokes aside, did you know we have a 1000kg electro hydraulic bike lift with a drop away section specifically for easy removal of rear wheels from large cruisers! We also supply and fit tires for any make and model of vehicle 😎

Truth be told, I really did not want to give this lovely VFR400 back to its owner this morning! 😁😁
Front forks overhauled, new spacers machined to the correct length (had been lowered)
Brakes serviced
Carbs Synchronised
New spark plugs
New front tyre
Cables lubricated and adjusted
Collection of fungi growing under the tank removed! 🤮
A very capable little machine that is sure to provide many more years of enjoyment 😎

2005 Mustang came in a while ago with a mystery misfire in cyl 6.
Discover a cracked cylinder liner, so it's rebuild time, sort of...
Came in as a 4.6L, she'll be leaving as a stroked 5l with all new forged internals and a nice big SUPERCHARGER! 😁😁
