Colin Appleyard started his career as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic, working his way through the ranks of a long established local motorcycle company to the position of Sales Director, dealing in Triumph and other famous British marques. At the age of 34, Colin eventually took the plunge and started his own one-man business.

Colin Appleyard Ltd first opened in modest premises in the town of Keighley, West Yorkshire in 1971. The original premises were quickly outgrown and in 1975 we moved into our current, large town centre property of 12,000 square feet. Colin Appleyard is still a family run business selling new and used motorcycles, cars and associated parts, accessories and clothing. In the showrooms, on the telephone or online, we have long-serving, knowledgeable staff who understand our products and want to give the best possible service to our customers.

Colin Appleyard Motorcycles is one of the UK's premier independent multi-franchise motorcycle centres, and was the first UK dealer to win the coveted MCN Dealer of the Year Award twice.
