Now the dust has settled (and we’re late to report) on the first four rounds and two venues of the British BMX National series, it was great to see our shirts on track and getting some points on the board, a big thankyou to Cumbernauld BMX club and of course all the commissaires for makinga great weekend this week, the ncc at Manchester a few weeks back, and of course the commissaire team/volunteers etc that make it all happen on the day.

With Owen Winnie and Jack racing in Manchester all putting in great laps over the weekend, Winnie impressed dealing with those first National of the year nerves well and with confidence came back looking forward to the next one, Jack made great progress over the winter and looked sharp on track, its all coming together this year we’re sure. Owen also looked great and made the 17-29cruiser final on Saturday.

Scotland came and Jack was once again present, impressively making semi finals both days in the stacked 17-18 class (and so close to the final on day two, the rest of the team was all change as we had no Owen or Winnie and subs came on in the form of Carmel,Kev and John.
Carmel took 9th both days in 17-29cruiser, John as usual raced both bikes and took a win in 30-39cr on day two, Kev also made the final on both bikes on the Saturday including a 5th in Grand Vets

As we look forward to Manchester, we’re excited for the whole team being present and climbing the points table.
