*MORE TRACK BIKES PLEASE*
Heres a quick photo sent in by Charlie of his bike . It's been really fun stepping away from the custom and restoration paint work for a few days to get this fairing kit and tank painted for him to rebuild and decal up ready for the new season and I'm really keen to do more of these for people in the future given the opportunity! Oscar's 2018 (yes 2018) came into the shop with an absolutely horrific rust problem, it was touch and go whether we'd be able to save the fenders but with some very careful media blasting we managed to eradicate the problem along with new custom paintwork, Oscar's bike is ready for the road again. Unfortunately I'm not at the shop today and have seen on the security camera at the front of the shop 2 separate people that have made the effort to come and visit without previous arrangement, it's only me here and I am often out collecting other customers stuff, paint and such. And if I am here - I'm usually busy painting. I always look forward to people visiting but I'd just like to remind you to either call or message 1st if possible so I can arrange my day that I will be on the premises/able to stop for a chat.

A nervous drive with a car full of fresh paint over to Heron Cycles for 1st mock fit up of the latest shovelhead build ,my anally retentive brain wanted to make sure the fish scales ran through the panel set inline once on the frame which they do perfectly so I'm happy about that. The 3 of us are really excited to get it finished now. Panel set is back at my shop ready for polishing while jay works on the motor. Personally I'm looking forward to seeing the bike in true light with a bit of sun at some point where the secondary black flaked stripes and sections will really come to life

Just a quick video post to show this absolutely gorgeous one off black pearl colour I mixed here at the shop for a customer a couple of weeks ago. The bike originally came in for the generic Harley Davidson rust repairs on the fenders but then ended up having a complete resprayed as there was also a small dent in the tank. The customer picked the emblem himself along with the general colour idea and left the rest to me. He wanted a "one coloured bike that was a bit special but not too over the top with a classic bike look".

Got flames ? Steves TC Bros. Chopper tank has plenty.
As any painter will say, every colour,finish and design have their own easy and hard characteristics to paint , for me- [good] flames will always be one of the hardest to get right, they need to be realistic, in proportion and fit around the shape of the panel they are going on all while trying to make them different to everyone else's. Usually resulting in a fair bit of time laying,adjusting (and wasting) a lot of tape along with a bit of swearing sometimes.
I've done a lot of flames this year,it seems that they are getting popular again as well as a lot of people mentioning they want black and golds on their bikes in general. I've recorded loads of videos of this tank, none of them will show it's full impact in person.i am rubbish at taking good photos and videos
