Maritime festival 12th - 13th September in Ipswich waterfront

Great line-up for our maritime festivities during Heritage Open Days! Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th September, from 11am-4pm.
Sailing smacks from the Pioneer Sailing Trust and Excelsior Trust will be joining Sailing Barge Victor on Common Quay, outside the Old Custom House, courtesy of ABP. Explore the boats, visit the exhibitions, listen to the Shefarers shanty group, take a self-guided tour around the Heritage Harbour... all free!

Mystery solved!
As many of you know, our little shed had a damaged door after a storm, a task that waited and waited. One day I went out and found that it had been repaired by an unknown hand, and much better standard than we would have managed ! Despite asking around, no one admitted to doing it.
Today the mystery was solved, a repeat customer admitted he had repaired it quietly, So a big thank you to Gary, and so nice to put a face to the kind assistance

🚢 A brand-new giant is heading for Felixstowe!

We're looking forward to welcoming YM WORTHINESS on 12 June as part of her maiden voyage and first-ever visit to Europe.

⚓Fresh from the shipyard, this brand-new vessel is among the latest additions to the global container fleet and will call at Felixstowe as part of the new Premier Alliance FE3 service.

With a capacity of around 15,500 TEU and stretching an impressive 365 metres in length, she's set to be an impressive sight as she arrives into the Haven.

A huge thank you to our friends at Yang Ming for sharing this fantastic photo and giving us a sneak peek of the vessel before she arrives!
