The mk5 Cortina has had more done

Sunroof aperture done.

Sunroof tray repaired.

Front inner and outer scuttle removed due to rot.

Inside of he rot skin cleaned up and rust treated

Passengers A post and screen pillar changed as alot of work to repair the rot and a new complete panel came up so may sense to renew.

Few repair panels made and sent out to help people repair cars. Lots of Mk1 Focus sections, keep running out of stock!

Been worrying about this part of the restoration for a while.

Couldn't find another sunroof but one came up in very good order. What sure what to do otherwise or what I could modify to suit.

Fabricated the aperture and tacked the sections in place ready to weld next week.

Turns out it wasn't such a bad job after all!

Few little jobs left to do like fluid changes and more cleaning then will be up for sale.

More progress on the mk5 cortina.

Drivers side rear quarter panel is on. Turns out the mk4 cortina rear quarters are a fair bit different than a mk5 one so had quite a few modifications to do to make it work.

Rear scuttle sourced finally and fitted

Rear valance fitted.

Replacement sunroof sourced finally as well. The original was had it. Offered up today so the aperture can be repaired then the tray can be bonded back on place.

Haven't updated the mk5 cortina 2.3 Ghia in q while but progress has been made.

Passengers rear 1/4 on.
Inner rear valance repaired.
Boot floor repaired
Rear upper panel repaired
Full filler top made and fitted
Drivers rear 1/4 removed. New mk4 1/4 modified to fit.
Inner arch made and replaced.
Bare metaled behind panels and Graphene primed.
Rear scuttle removed ready to replace.
Passengers end of outer sill made and fitted.
Rearparcel shelf lip Repaired
Boot lid replaced

Doors have started going on and being adjusted. 2 are mk5 so taken the top frames off to take the originals.
