♦️ Easter Holidays ♦️

Just a note to say the garage will be CLOSED this week to allow all the staff some time off for the Easter break/kids holidays!

☎️ The office won’t be manned but the workshop will be open some limited hours but these aren’t scheduled, therefore bookings/enquires wont be answered as normal 📄

🚗 We return back on Monday the 6th of April!

AutoMasters are seeking to employ 2 x additional experienced team members, to join our existing team within our busy modern workshop & mot testing centre.

1️⃣ Position 1 (Full time, permanent)

Job Description: Workshop Supervisor/Mechanic

• The role requires a hardworking individual with ability to work on their own or as part of the team. •Day-to-day duties will involve all aspects of mechanical and technical responsibilities from servicing to cambelts on a wide variation of vehicles & assisting with running the garage.
•Diagnostic experience essential
•Assist with managing bookings, ordering parts, updating customers on progress
•Assist with planning workshop tasks, scheduling work booked in, prioritising emergency work.
•Updating garage systems & digital service books when required
•Good communication skills

Salary/Benefits:
• Excellent rates of pay dependent on experience
• Company pension
• Training
• Company vehicle may be available
• Overtime available

Experience:
• Mechanic: 5 years (Preferred)
• Managing a workshop (Preferred)

Licence:
• Driving License (Required)

2️⃣ Position 2 (Full time)

Job description: Mechanic/Vehicle Technician

• Day to day duties would include carrying out general mot repairs, maintenance and servicing on a wide variation of vehicles.
•General assistance with day to day workshop duties when required.
•Specialist tools provided where required

Salary/Benefits:
• Excellent rates of pay dependent on experience
• Company pension
• Overtime available

Experience:
• Time Served (Preferred)

Licence:
•Driving licence (Required)

Update: We won’t open tomorrow, staff member’s have been told not to travel in this weather!

We will assess the situation/weather in the morning and keep everyone posted. All bookings will be rescheduled as priority.

Take care and only head out once your routes have been cleared.

Hi Everyone,

Hope you’re all well & a happy new year!

We are due to be back open tomorrow the 5th of January but with the latest weather warnings and school closures we expect a lot of delays and disruption!

Don’t worry about any bookings we will reschedule anyone that can’t travel. Most importantly stay safe out there.

Our yard has been cleared but please take extra care when arriving as parking is reduced- no cars to be left overnight as we may need to clear again tomorrow.

All enquiries will be dealt with this week so if you’ve not heard from us don’t worry we will be in touch soon.

Hey everyone!

🔧 We are closed today for the local holiday but open again at 8am tomorrow morning Tuesday the 8th of April 🔧

🏎️ On another wee note, a successful weekend was had for the Porsche at the Kames sprint down in Ayrshire with 2 x class wins - great start to the race season 🏁
