Pack a picnic, head to Whin Park and enjoy a relaxing row on the pond. 🚣‍♀️

🌞 Well… it looks like the Highland summer has finally decided to make an appearance! 😎

Grab the picnic, slap on the sunscreen & head down to Whin Park for some family fun & cool off with a relaxing row on the pond. 🚣‍♀️💙

We’re open every day from 10:30am (weather permitting), so come & make the most of this beautiful spell while it lasts!

Please note: We will be closed on Wednesday 15th July as we say our final goodbye to our much-loved friend Gus from Crazy Golf. Thank you for your understanding as we take time to celebrate his life and pay our respects. He’ll be greatly missed by us all. 💔

💙 A little notice from Whin Park Boating 💙

We will be closed on Wednesday 15th July as we say our final goodbye to our dear friend Gus.

Gus will be greatly missed & our thoughts, love & deepest sympathies are with his family & all those who knew & loved him at this very sad time.

Some days are for making memories and some days are for remembering them. Wednesday is for Gus. 💙

Rest easy our friend. You will be missed more than words can say. 🕊️

With the heaviest of hearts, Angus Fraser MacDonald (Gus), passed away on the 24th June 2026, aged 54 years. Well known local business man and community fundraiser, known to many as Gus from the Crazy Golf.
Adored husband of Emily, devoted dad of Isla & Oli, much loved son of Bet, and the late Angus, a dear cousin, son in law, uncle, brother in law and a good friend to many.
A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday 15th July at 12 noon.
We would be honoured for those who wish to celebrate the life of Gus, to gather at the Crazy Golf, where seats will be provided and the service streamed through speakers or alternatively you may use this space to sit and live stream from your own device. Gates will open from 11am.

🚣 School’s out… & the boats are ready! ☀️

We’ll be open every day from 10:30am throughout the summer holidays (weather permitting). 🙌

If the sun’s shining, grab the kids, pack a picnic & come and see us. 🚣‍♀️ If it’s chucking it down… well, the ducks have booked the pond for private use! 🌧️ 🦆😂

🌧️ A huge thank you to everyone who visited Whin Park Boating today! Despite the rain & some very heavy downpours, spirits stayed high & we loved seeing so many of you out enjoying the boats. 🚣‍♀️

Your support means so much to us & it was fantastic to see families & friends making the most of the day, whatever the weather! ☔️ ☀️ ⛅️

☀️ The good news is that the forecast is looking much brighter for tomorrow, so we hope to see even more of you on the water.
