We finished the week with this stunning Ford Custom.

A full decontamination wash and clay bar was carried out, followed by a single stage machine polish.

On completion of the machine polish, all external parts and alloys were wiped down with panel prep to ensure the ceramic coating has the perfect conditions to bond to the surfaces.

Reign 7 year ceramic was applied to the paint work, alloys and plastics.

Enjoy the weekend folks. For myself it’s time for w**e and a deserved few days rest and we go again next week with a diary full of ceramics 🥴

New Service: Undercarriage Washing

With our new hot pressure washer arriving just in time for winter, and with salt being put down on the roads, we are introducing a new service to the wash bay: undercarriage washing for just £3 on all vehicles.

Key Benefits of Undercarriage Washing

• Prevents Rust and Corrosion: Road salt, calcium/magnesium chloride brine, and wet grit accelerate oxidation on the chassis, frame, and suspension. Regular rinses prevent rust from forming on bare metal.

• Protects Critical Safety Systems: Salt and debris accumulate quickly around brake lines, calipers, brake pads, and cables. Keeping them clean prevents premature wear, line leaks, and sticking components.

• Avoids Expensive Mechanical Repairs: Corroded exhaust systems, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and transmission components can lead to costly bills. Regular underbody flushes reduce long-term repair costs.

Yesterday we completed work on this stunning BMW X5.

This car was heavily scratched that required a lot of wet sanding up the passenger side and also the bonnet.

The scratches were very close to the base coat so we could only wet and sand them to a certain point to leave enough lacquer to provide protection.

A full decontamination wash and clay bar was carried out, followed by a single stage machine polish.

On completion of the machine polish, all external parts and alloys were wiped down with panel prep to ensure the ceramic coating has the perfect conditions to bond to the surfaces.

We finished a hectic day with a visit to the customers house to attend to their 306 rallye.

The car had recently had an underside restoration and unfortunately the company carrying out the work didn’t cover the paintwork up which resulted in the car being like a harled wall.

Few passes with the various pads and compounds and we had something that resembles car paint work again 👌🏻

Another paint enhancement has been completed, focusing on improving the overall appearance of the paintwork by reducing the visibility of light swirl marks, fine scratches and minor imperfections. The paintwork has been machine polished to refine the surface, enhance clarity and restore a deep, glossy finish.

This process helps to bring out the colour and depth of the paint, leaving the vehicle with a noticeably fresher appearance and a smoother, more reflective finish. Particular attention was given to achieving a consistent result across the panels, improving the way the paint reflects light and enhancing the vehicle’s overall presentation.

The result is a cleaner, sharper finish with increased gloss and improved paint clarity.

Please note that paint enhancement improves the appearance of the paintwork but does not remove every defect. Deeper scratches and imperfections that extend beyond the surface may remain, as the aim is to achieve a significant visual improvement while preserving as much of the original paint as possible. Also been closed in with 1 year ceramic coating to make life much easier keeping on top of this big beast 🚙
