Roadside Alternator and belt replacement 🛠️

Alternator pulley failure damaged the alternator itself and snapped the belt.

Alternator sources from local part dealer and fitted together with the belt on this Merc Actros.

Sunday Call Out ✅

Clutch didn’t close properly and Mercedes Actros wouldn’t go into gear.

After a full clutch reset and re-installation of settings the truck was back up and running within 1h. 💻

Quick turn around without needing a recovery or taking back to the workshop. 🤝

Saved the customer a lot of money 💰

Call out to Tamworth sorted ✅

Truck wouldn’t start and driver was stuck at the gatehouse.
- Immobiliser reset was completed, managed to start it back up and get the lorry back to the yard for a more in depth diagnostic.

- saved the operator a lot of 💰 as recovery didn’t need to be called out.

Although it was a bank holiday Monday , we’ve managed to organise a replacement airbag and fit it for our customer! Just in time, before heading out to work tomorrow 🚛
