Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30-5.30, no weekends
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our family run garage, which is also part of the Bosch Car Care Service. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are safe, reliable, and road-ready.
You will work on a diverse range of vehicles, performing everything from routine servicing to engine diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repair: Use the latest diagnostic technology to identify and fix faults across mechanical and electrical systems.
Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing and repair work, MOT preparation, and health checks in line with manufacturer standards.
Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, including road testing vehicles.
Workshop Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organised workspace and manage your time effectively to meet targets.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ hands-on experience in a workshop environment.
Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail. Experience with Hybrid/Electric vehicles is an advantage. Ability to work independently and also as part of team.
Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is an advantage.
