Meet the Crew — Maggs! 🌊🤿

Maggs joined the Lundy Diving crew this year, and we’re so pleased to have her onboard!

She brings with her an incredible amount of knowledge and experience — we’re not sure there’s a single patch of seabed around Lundy that she hasn’t dived! 🤿 As a key member of Ilfracombe BSAC, she knows the dive sites, wrecks and underwater world around Lundy like the back of her hand.

This season, Maggs has been enjoying life on the other side of the dive ladder, working aboard the boats and sharing her knowledge with our guests. Whether it’s pointing out what’s beneath us, talking about Lundy’s marine life or sharing a story from one of her many dives, she’s a brilliant addition to the crew.

We’re very lucky to have you, Maggs! 💙⚓️

🌊 Our very first Lundy Loop – completed! 🦭🏊‍♀️

What an incredible day! We took 10 enthusiastic swimmers on our inaugural Lundy Loop, a full circumnavigation of Lundy Island. It was no easy challenge, but every single swimmer dug deep, kept smiling, and crossed the finish line with an amazing sense of achievement.

The highlight? Sharing the water with Lundy’s famous grey seals, who popped up to watch the swimmers and even swam alongside them at times. Moments like these are what make open water swimming so special.

Just look at those smiles – tired legs, big achievements, and memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge congratulations to all 10 swimmers. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Here’s to many more Lundy Loop adventures! 🌊💙
