SHAW INN WIN ON PENALTIES.
SHAW INN ARE COUNTY CUP CHAMPIONS!! 🏆🩵
History. Made.
An unbelievable performance from the blues sees us crowned County Cup winners after an incredible battle against a very, very strong side. This wasn’t just a win — this was character, resilience, and everything this team stands for.
We found ourselves behind… not once, but twice in the game. In a final, against top opposition, that’s where teams can crumble — but not this group.
The lads showed unbelievable mentality to respond both times. Heads never dropped, belief never faded, and we kept pushing, kept fighting, kept playing.
Our first goal came through Jude Fitzgerald, who stepped up in a massive moment to bring us back into the game and shift the momentum. From there, Shaw Inn grew into it, showing real quality and togetherness.
Even after going behind again, the response was the same — pure determination. The equaliser came through Brandon Glaves, who delivered when it mattered most to drag us level once again and send the game to penalties.
And from there… it was all about nerve.
Penalty shootout. Pressure at its highest. But the lads stood tall. Every single one showed composure, bravery, and belief — and when it mattered most, we got it done.

This is what happens when a group sticks together. Week in, week out, through everything — the lads have backed each other, worked for each other, and now we’re seeing the rewards for it
This isn’t luck. This is earned.
Massive credit to the opposition — a top side who pushed us all the way and made it a proper final.
To everyone who’s supported us along the journey — thank you. This one’s for all of us.
What a day. What a team. What a feeling.
Special mentions to Mac Graz absolutely solid as ever at the back and didn’t put a foot wrong. Commanded and threw his body on the line for the full ninety minutes. Aswell as, a man of the match performance from super Aaron Davison in goal. 2 late massive stops and a penalty save that saw us lift the trophy.
Well in, Men👏🏻
County Cup Champions. Forever. 🏆🩵
