What are we doing here? Well, this 2018 Renault Kadjar 1.2 came into our Horsham workshop with an engine rattle noise.

We diagnosed a timing chain issue and advised our customer not to use the vehicle until it's repaired. Luckily this check and diagnosis has saved a costly blown engine.

Are your tyres wearing thin? There's an easy way to test with a 20p...

Put the 20p in the tread of the tyre - do check several points on the tyre to ensure it's all as it should be.

If the outer band of the 20p is hidden, then your tread is above the legal limit. If you can clearly see the outer border on the coin, your tread is low or illegal, and the tyre should be checked by a professional (us!).
