No Monday morning blues for Tom today! He passed his test at Crawley TC on his first attempt with just 1 driver fault! An amazing achievement - definitely worth getting up early for. I had the privilege of sitting in on a very mature and accomplished drive. Safe driving Tom!

In her driving lesson last week, one of my newer pupils was struggling with junction practice. She was doing better than she thought and allowed things to overwhelm her and she got upset.
This week, she got in the car with a determined attitude and by the end of the lesson was dealing with the junction so well that we moved to a busier one which she also dealt with.
I told her how proud of her I was that she hadn’t given up and she said she had been giving herself ’pep’ talks all week and that she could do this!
What a fabulous attitude! 😀

Today was the end of an era…
Theo passed his test on the first attempt at Crawley test centre with just 3 driver faults having only 24 hours of lessons with me. An amazing result. His dad also deserves a mention as he took Theo out for practice at every opportunity.
Theo is the third (and last) sibling I have coached and it has been an absolute pleasure being part of the Stally family journey.

Huge congratulations to Izzy passing her test on the first attempt at Crawley test centre today. Yesterday was her 18th birthday so this was a great belated present! The examiner commented on her confident drive. Well done Izzy 👏

Not everyone can pass their test on the first attempt. Sometimes it takes many attempts. But that perseverance to keep going means that when the examiner says those magic words ‘I am pleased to tell you that you have passed’ the feeling is overwhelming. That’s how it felt for Theo today. On their 4th attempt they finally got the reward on the same route as their first test! Theo was involved in an accident when learning with another instructor which knocked their confidence and it took us a while to get that back. Test day nerves and anxiety meant those previous tests didn’t quite go to plan. But today was the day and I was so proud to sit in on the test and watch Theo get that Pass certificate. Never give up on your dream.

The early risers get their reward! Elliot’s test was at 8am this morning (on a Sunday!!). The good news was he passed with 5 driver faults at Crawley TC. He is now officially a member of the 2nd Time Pass Club as nerves got the better of him on his first test in November. A few more hours training paid off with the result we wanted. Well done Elliot!

First pass of 2026! First time pass for Julian today at Crawley TC with just 4 driving faults. An amazing drive and on the same day as his girlfriend also passed her test! Awesome achievement all round.

And that’s a wrap! The driving school is closed for the festive season. What a fantastic year it’s been! Hats off to all my amazing pupils who rose to the challenge and passed their tests in 2025 and all those still working hard to take their tests in 2026. I am also looking forward to meeting all the new pupils waiting in the wings to start their driving journey. May I wish you a Happy Christmas however you celebrate it and a prosperous New Year. 🎉🥳
